About the event

Join us on World Bipolar Day for a celebration of art and community! The bipolar community is made of warriors – of strong, resilient, thoughtful, creative folks. Let's get together and celebrate it.

Featured artists:

CP Maze

Jackson Riley

Kev G Mor

Masaya

Sunbaby

After the features, we'll have an open mic from other bipolar warriors! If you'd like to perform in the open mic, please purchase the "open mic performer" ticket.

Either way, come out on Saturday, March 30 to honor each other's gifts, artistry, and journeys.

Presented by Bipolar Creatives and The Make Yourself Collective

About the artists:

CP Maze:

Houston, Texas native Charles Daniel Perry Jr, artistically known as CP Maze, has a story worthy of the history books. After serving five years in the United States Marine Corps, he emerged a decorated Sargent with a heart full of muse, a mind storm of Marine Corps memories, and an artistic repertoire as well, trained and mature as the marine smoldering inside. He has rankings of 3rd & 4th in the World for Performance Poetry. Maze is currently a student in The University of Houston’s Creative Writing Poetry program.

Jackson Riley:

Jackson is a 24-year-old writer from Stillwater, Oklahoma, currently living in San Clemente, California. When he’s not saving cats and dogs from burning buildings, you can find him penning romantic poetry, surrealist fiction, and the occasional highbrow poop joke.

Kev G Mor:

Kev G Mor is a Boston-based musician, mental health advocate, and Certified Mental Health Peer Specialist in Massachusetts. He vlogs about his daily life while living with schizophrenia, bipolar 1 disorder, cPTSD, and Inattentive ADD. Through his music, which has roots in Folk and Blues, he shares his personal struggles and aims to raise awareness about mental health issues, particularly focusing on suicide prevention.

Masaya:

Masaya (Andi Masaya Rivers, pronouns: she/they) is a two-spirit musician, artist, and fashion designer. She’s also an environmental activist who’s done three hundred beach cleans on the island she is from, Oahu, Hawaii. Her Album “Healing” is coming soon.

Sunbaby:

Sunbaby is a mental health advocate. She helps spread awareness of mental health through poetry and music. “Always know that the storm you are facing now will not last forever.” ❤️
